You know, recently, You know recently, Yeah, I was just thinking, you know, about one thing and the other and erm, well you know, music crossed my mind Yeah? Yeah. It occurred to me to switch on the radio, you know, I just wanted to hear some music, Sure yeah. Well I turned it on, it was Radio One, Sid Jenkins on the air, He had synthesizers and soulful guises and well, I think you know the type of thing - Oh I know. Yeah it was all right, it was all right, It was OK ? It was OK, It was all right, Yeah? Yeah, and you know I wouldn't want to be making any complaints about it or anything like that. There was just one problem What was that?

It all sounded the same (You mean you've heard it before, right?). It all sounded the same (You weren't impressed). It all sounded the same, It all sounded the same, Am I clear? Am I clear? Yeah. All right.

So anyway, what I did, I just started asking around, you know. I started erm, I started just sort of just making a few enquiries, you know, just putting out a few feelers. Yeah? Yeah, yeah. I had a word with a couple of socialists on my way. Socialists? Yeah, you know erm, you know the so-called socialista, I don't know the term,
(Oh, I know) the exact terminology, you know the ones anyway. I know the ones. Yeah. Well I don't mind telling you, you know, their replies in my conversation, they came as a big surprise to me. You know, they really did. Yeah, it came as a big surprise. Yeah, boss.

Well, you know, to put you in the picture what happened was... er, we were having a conversation you know and I just, I just sort of, I just sort of dropped it out, you know. I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, "How do you feel about Ireland?" Ireland? Yeah, Ireland. That place, it's just across the sea. They er, they said, they said, they said, they said, "We're for Sandinista, Cuba's militia, the P L O, M.P.L.A, Afghanistan and Babylon" and on and on and on.

And I said: "All right, all right, all right, all right, OK but er what do you think about Belfast, Belfast, Belfast" And what did they say? Well, their replies were various, yeah various, yeah various, but they just had one thing in common. And what was that?
This.....

They all sounded the same
You mean they sounded similar?
They all sounded the same
You mean they were alike in some way?
They sounded the same. Yeah? They all sounded the same.

You know what I mean. That's about the size of it, Yeah Yeah, yeah, it's just one of those of things really, that kind of thing you know. You mean just one of 'those' things? Yeah, one of those things, you know. Huh!

They all sounded the same. They all sounded the same. How they, all sounded the same, they sounded. Oh yeah, I think I know what you mean. You know what I mean. I know yeah. You er, you know what I mean. Oh yeah, I know what you mean. You er, you know what I mean. Do you think it's clear now? You know what I mean. Yeah, I get the picture. Yeah I thought so, you, you know what I mean. Without putting er, too fine a point on it. They all sounded the same. They all sounded the same, they all sounded the same. Well, you know what I mean. I think you know what I mean, I think you already know what I mean. Yeah, I know. Everybody now.
