Please choose from the menu below...  THE THEME FROM  BRUSH STROKES When sit-com "Brush Strokes" first aired on BBC1 in 1986 it featured a short extract from the Dexys recording "Because Of You" over the opening credits. However by 1990 Kevin Rowland had rerecorded this short section of the song - complete with a curious lyrical change - for use on the later series.
